"TOP NOTCH SERVICE, FAIR PRICING, PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. We were in the middle of a two week bike trip from Michigan when I started having problems with my Goldwing. These guys were trying to help me on my initial SOS call from 100 miles away. We got to the dealership on Saturday at 2PM. Ben Hawker (a technician with 30 years experience) had the bike off of the lift and ready to ride before 4PM! He diagnosed the problem, took the whole rear end apart to verify the diagnosis AND replaced the rear end with another one that he had from a Goldwing that had been triked. You can't put a price on service like this. But wait, it gets better. There was no "man, we've got this guy right where we want him" attitude. The cost was way more than fair. The whole dealership was very friendly with an "aw shucks, it was nothin" attitude after pulling off this minor miracle for us. Thanks to owner Mike Murdock for running a good business and once again a special thanks to Ben Hawker. Please know that you provide a valuable service in a very professional and courteous manner. You are a shining star in the Honda Dealership Chain. "

"I would just like to write a few words to commend the staff of Bill’s Cycle Shop in Idaho Falls, Idaho, for going above and beyond for me when I had the misfortune of breaking a throttle cable on my 2004 GL1800 while on a trip this summer.
My wife and I along with another couple made a trip from Hanna, Alberta, Canada via Yellowstone National Park this summer and ended up in Idaho Falls on August 13 2009. We got a Hotel room and headed out for dinner at about 7:00pm when all of a sudden I had no throttle response and all the engine would do was idle regardless of what I did with the throttle. I limped the bike back to the Hotel where we preceded to search the phone book for a Honda dealer to hopefully help me out in the morning.
We were sitting at Bill’s Cycle Shop when he opened on Friday August 14th to see if they could help me out. As soon as the service department opened Ben started taking my bike apart to make sure what part / cable was the culprit then got on the phone to locate one to change it out. Ben from service found the closest one in Ogden Utah so my buddy and I jumped on his bike to start the 360 mile round trip to pick it up at about 11:00 am.
We arrived back at Bill’s Cycle Shop at shortly after 5:00 pm where Ben was patiently waiting for the cable to start putting my bike back together. He worked meticulously and put my bike back together in record time. I was back on the road by 7:15 that evening with a very modest price tag for the entire job.
I truly appreciate the outstanding service and friendly chitchat I got from everyone at Bill’s Cycle Shop especially Bill and Ben. These guys truly set the bar pretty high when it comes to going the extra mile for a biker that was stranded with a breakdown that easily could have stretched out over the weekend and put a real damper on our vacation.
If any of you reading this are in Idaho Falls please stop in and support Bill’s Cycle Shop, as they are outstanding when it comes to customer service. Thanks again guys for giving us Christmas in August.
